Don't Bother!Dec 11, 2007
By R. Felice
"Calista's Mommy"
I rarely leave reviews but was compelled to this afternoon when I opened this tea set, which was my second attempt at ordering a tea set for my four-year-old daughter. Perhaps some children like to reign over tea parties attended only by their baby dolls, but my daughter hosts parties with her mommy, cousin, and aunt as her guests, and this tea set was a terrible disappointment. Although not as disappointing as mini porcelain set that I ordered first, this set is still not even close to being a full size set fit for serving beverages. Buyer beware: if you cannot find the dimensions of the actual pieces in the product description, you will receive something pathetically small and chintzy. The biggest joke is that this tea set is too small for my four-year-old, yet the manufacturer's recommended age is eight to twelve. The bottom line is that a tea set just might be one of those things you need to see in person...unless you really are looking for a set to collect dust with the dollies.

Alex Tin Tea SetDec 28, 2007
By Abigail Smith
"Abby"
I brought the Alex Tin Tea Set for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas.
She loves the tea set and it was her first set. I don't think she cares about the size or color, but just loves having tea parties with her dolls, mom and dad and other family members. The tea set is small, but it has a cute design and I like the fact that it's tin. That way she can't break it like other sets that aren't tin. I looked at many tea sets deciding which to get her for Christmas and many were small like this set, but not nearly as cute and long lasting. I was very happy with the set and my daughter seems to be too.

cute tea setJan 31, 2008
By K. Robinson Nice tea set, a little smaller than I thought it would be, but very cute. Not sure it is actually tin since magnets stick to it. My daughter likes to have tea paties with it, so I think it was well worth the cost. Best thing about it is the case to keep it in.

Adorable but VERY SMALLDec 14, 2010
By MMcGarry I had read the previous reviews and have looked for a tea set for my 2 girls (3.5, 1.5 yrs) for a while. This set is ADORABLE...and I didn't want to believe the other posts, but it is REALLY small! In the cups, maybe a tbs. or 2 will fit. I guess it could be good because the mess they make can't be big- but I am a bit disappointed with the size. If it were twice the size, it would be PERFECT!

Cute, but the Teapot cap comes off easilyJul 03, 2009
By C. Y. Chin It's very cute, but a lot smaller than actual size. The thing that bothers me the most is that the cap to the teapot always falls out when you "pour" the tea. I just ended up having to tape it down to the teapot, otherwise we'd end up losing the thing!
