 Cheaply made but cuteJul 10, 2009
On of the bugs already broke and though they are colorful they are cheaply made. Wouldn't buy them again.

My 5 1/2 month old just started noticing and playing with the ladybug from the group about 1 week ago. Today the ladybug's head came off in his hand. Luckily I was right there to grab it out of his mouth. If that wasn't bad enough - the pouch the squeaker is enclosed in (a very flimsy mesh) ripped open and came out pretty easily with a very gentle tug. Please make sure to check the toys yourself before giving them to baby.

Bought these for my 2 month old son after seeing such good reviews. He thought they were okay and would look at them when he was in his carseat. Now at 5 months he LOVES them. I strap one to his stroller and he plays happily with it. Sometimes he even treats them like a lovey and will just hold on to one of them. They are small, easy to transport, and not noisy or obnoxious. They were a lifesaver on a long plane trip!

I was first disappointed by the packaging of this product. It was a gift and the packaging made it look used. The colors on the cloth toys were not as vibrant as I would have liked. I'm not sure how many hours of play my granddaughter will get out of this toy.

When I bought these bugs for my 2 months old boy I anticipated him to get attracted; but his reaction exceeded all my expectations. When he saw these toys hanging on his bouncer he said his first "Wow!" :-) Or, whatever he said, definitely meant a big Wow. I had never seen him that excited before. My little man was even more attracted when he discovered that the bugs have crunchy wings, they rattle and the dragonfly buzzes. Toys came in different colors then shown on the picture; but they look even nicer. The size is perfect also: enough to attract an infant's attention, but not too big so he can hold them easily. He can spend 30 minutes or even more kicking these toys, touching wings and even talking to them! The bugs became his best friends - and mine too because, while he is busy with them in his bouncer or crib, I can spare time for some homework.
