Worth the troubleDec 16, 2001
By P. Phelon This toy is not easy to find. We had to go to three Toys 'R Us stores and wait a half hour for a clerk to find one stored away in the back to get one, but it was worth the trouble. We gave it to our son for his first birthday, and he absolutely loves it! He spends more time with it than any of the other toys we gave him. Right now he's interested in mainly the side with the train and gadgets. He loves to pick up the phone and pretend he's talking like mommy and daddy. He also loves taking out and playing with the shape pegs. He always takes the train off the track when we try to show him how to make it go around. He also climbs on it, turns it upside down, and takes off the top and sits in the middle of it. He's fallen off of it a couple of times without any problems. It's pretty sturdy and low to the floor. We are very pleased with the Flip & Play table and recommend it, but good luck finding one.

Best activity table for pre-toddlersFeb 26, 2000
My son LOVES this table! This was the first toy that he showed a prolonged interest in. We bought it for him at about 10 months because he liked to pull up to a standing position and it's a great height for that. It makes a cool train sound and has lots of stuff going on for the little ones to play with. My friend's baby visited us at around 1 yr and loved it immediately so we gave her one of her own for her birthday. This is a much more fun table than other activity tables on the market.

Great investment that keep toddlers' attention!May 17, 2001
I really looked around before buying this activity table. My daughter was 1 yr old and she loved it immediately! Although we do flip the table over to let her play with the blocks from time to time, it's obvious that she (now 16 months old) loves the activity side of the table most of all -- complete with moving/whistling train that toddlers can operate easily, phone, geometrical shapes, flip-book, spinning wheel and rotary clicker. She loves imitating the train sounds that the toy makes. It's true that the train and phone come off very easily and she loves walking around with them also. So I constantly have to be returning the parts to the table so we don't lose them. But that's true with all activity tables and a lot of other types of toddler toys. I HIGHLY recommend this particular toy, as it really does keep a toddlers' attention about as long as can be expected! :)

Great entertainment for hoursNov 06, 2001

We just got the playtable for our son's 1st Birthday from friends. Within days his fine motoric improved and he figuered out the whole variety of this table -- and did not loose interest in it. It's the first toy he plays with in the morning and the last toy before he goes to bed. He loves the little figueres that come with it. He can not set the train on yet, so he put a figuer in the middle and makes it spin. We have the chicco push-cart and I love that we can use the blocks for each toy. I will give a table to my friends daughter this week, since she enjoyed it as much as my son. Great present for any 1st birtday kid.

Easy to Put Together and Fun for 15 Month Old BabyOct 30, 2001
I purchased this table for my 15 month old daughter because she's still cruising and not yet walking. I thought it would be a nice toy for her to play with and pull up on while she contemplates eventually walking. I'm glad we got it because my daughter loves it and it keeps her busy. The fact that she can use it to stand up while playing with it, is the main attraction for her. There's a little drawer in it and fun activity toys attached to it, also. She likes to put her toys in the drawer and take them out again. The side of the table that has the train on it is her favorite. There are a lot of activities on the side with the train that capture her interest. The side of the table that has the faux Legos on it doesn't interest her at all yet. It doesn't matter though because the side that she does like has plenty of features to keep her busy. Another wonderful thing about this toy is that it is so EASY to put together. All you have to do is slide the top onto the legs and you're done! I don't think it even came with instructions. There was a simple picture showing how to put it together. It took less than a minute to put together. I almost didn't get this table because I thought my daugther was too tall to really enjoy standing at it because she's taller than the average baby her age. It turned out that the height of the table is fine for her. I would recommend this activity table to anyone who wants to encourage their child to stand and cruise and also for anyone who wants to keep their child busy.
