Lots of FunApr 14, 2005

My two year old loves playing with this sturdy, well-constructed pup. She loves dressing and undressing dolls and the vest, shorts and shoes are removable on this dog. He is very colorful, interesting and cute and a good size for hugging and toting around. Not only is this toy great for teaching the basic dressing skills (buttoning, zipping, tying, velcro, snapping & buckling), he also makes a great buddy and has become one of my daughters favorite tea-party friends.
great little pupDec 12, 2008
By MJ My two year old daughter has been playing with her dress up pup since last Christmas and she still plays with him frequently. At first she mainly enjoyed checking herself out in the mirror attached to the compass in his pocket and crinkling his dog bone, but has recently started to open and close the Velcro and snaps. Dress up pup is well-made and still looks like new. We also purchased this toy for my three year old nephew and he keeps him in the car. His Mom tells me that this will entertain him for 20-30 minutes at a time!
More fun then we'd imagined!Feb 20, 2008
By ISUGrads97 I debated about purchasing yet ANOTHER stuffed dog for my son, but what a worthwile purchase! My 2 year old who's been itching to learn how to button his own jacket is in his glory "dressing" (trying to anyway) his pup, Spot. I thought it was goofy that the dog came with a compass in his pocket (bone I get) but my son loves finding and playing with the surprises! Great dual purpose toy too as Spot gets to ride in our play shopping cart or get "treated" by our son as he plays doctor, etc. I'd like to throw out there for potential buyers of this dog that it does have all the "dressing" entaglements we parents hope for (hard to see in the photo) including: velcro, a button, a snap, ties, a buckle and a small zipper. Also all his clothing including his shoes are completely removable, so my son learns those un/dressing concepts as well. One item I feel is "missing" is that I'd love to see this dog come with some pj's like some other dressing dolls come with. Although it's not necessary to teach the concepts intended and certainly isn't a deal breaker in purchasing this toy due to all the other positives I've mentioned. Darling dog, great fun!
Great toy for my 2-year-oldOct 23, 2007

I purchased this toy for my 2-year-old son for his birthday. I was looking for a stuffed animal that was cloth, not plush, so as not to collect as many allergens. The dress-up features on this cute, cute dog were a bonus. My sons (ages 4 & 2) both love this toy, so much so that I got the "Outfit Kit" version for my older son (even though it is aimed at girls). And I love the colors of this dog.

My 2 year old son loves to carry around this pup and feed him his bone. It has withstood tugging and pulling so far with no problems. It's still more fun to take the clothes off than to put them on, but that may change later.
