Great overall toyJan 09, 2008
By K. Randolph This is a great, low tech learning toy. It includes two buttons, a buckle, a zipper, and a hidden surprise in the interior pocket. The watch band and shoes offer chances to practice velcro, and the doll's hair ribbon can be tied and untied.
A great toy for a toddler learning to dress him or herself.

Family TraditionNov 21, 2008

I have a Dapper Dan from the 1970's that has gone every ware with me, I'm not joking at 40 I still pack it when I travel. Anyway, I give either a Dressy Bessy to every kid born in my family and in the last about 20 years that I have been doing this I have not been disappointed with the quality of these toys ever. The ones a bought this year were every bit as durable an mine was when it was new in the 70's. I have one tip for parents though, NEVER PUT THIS TOY IN THE WASHING MACHINE! It will not survive the trip and you will end up with a destroyed toy and a screaming child, trust me on this.
Not as Good as ExpectedFeb 23, 2011
By Amanda L. Davis The velcro doesn't stick very well, and you can never wash it. It will be destroyed the first time you do.
