4Great looking but FragileMar 13, 2008
By Marshall C. Stewart
Opened my figure only to have the hammer come out in two pieces. The top half must have broken in transit to the store where I bought him. The figure and hammer were securely fastened in the packaging with tape and twist ties. It is nothing a little glue did not fix but I'm afraid if the hammer takes a fall or dropped it can break again. Figure looks great and well articulated.

3Looks can be decievingApr 04, 2008
By Ryan Crout "death by samurai"
So, i bought this figure for several reasons, foremost of which it just looks awesome
and having gotten it home, it does
it looks awesome
but looks can be decieving
there are a couple problems with this thing
most notable of which is the right hand
the pictures show it holding the hammer, yet mine came glued together, and i actually had to cut the thumb away from the fingers
that being said, the individual peices on this thing are very high quality plastic
i am somewhat afraid of breaking it, but i'll explain that in my next point
the articualtion is a brain teaser
some of it is standard, the ankles move, the knees move, the chest moves, and the shoulders bend
but they crammed a lot of articulation into a timy figure, and that means that figuring out what piece rotates is a pain in the patuki
and it doesn't hold the hammer with both hands, only the left
but
the hammer rocks
like
really
it just plain rocks
the detail and painting is fantastic, and the peg hole for attatching it to the backs of characters is practicly invisable
also, the plastic gives enough that extranious bits like the prongs on the head and arm shield have little fear of breaking or falling off
all in all, this is a great figure for display, albiet somewhat awekwardly (i've found using the hammer as a guitar works well :D)
this toy is alright for play, not the best thing, but not horrible either

5one of my favorite halo figuresJun 04, 2011

ok so first of all i'd like to say that the weapon is the only accessory but that's ok because this is one of the three figures to come with a gravity hammer. his helmet does not come off wich is a disappointment but i'm actually pretty glad about that because i don't want to lose it and it's my favorite part about this figure besides the hammer and the arm shield. a lot of people said they had trouble getting the hammer in both of his hands, but i had no problem at all. the bottom of the hammer comes off so you can get the hammer in the right hand and the you can just push his left hand onto the bigger part of the hammer. another problem people complained about is the hammer breaking when they took it out of the box what i did was i cut out the outline of the head of the hammer and then it just came out easily and it didn't break at all. one last is the only problem i had with the figure, the left spike thing coming out of his helmet was bent more forwards then the other and i haven't been able to get it to stay bent back like the other. all in all i would recommend getting this figure before it gets too expensive, because it goes up about ten to fifthteen dollars a year. well that's about it good luck and i hope you find the right figure for you.

5Amazing collector's item!Sep 07, 2009
By D. S. Gummersall
I rated this the way I did simply because it is such an amazing collectors item. True Halo fans will want to make this a part of their collection. This is a very rare action figure, second only the the Grunt which is from Series 1 as well. As far as it being a durable, educational, or fun toy I don't know, since mine is still in its original packaging and will remain there. This is a great investment as the value on this action figure has continued to rise. Get it while you can!

5It is the chief of brutesMay 20, 2009
By Esmerelda Duke
This toy was for my 13 year old, he loves it and says it is good quality,
it is durable, does stand up, and boys will like it because it looks every bit like what boys like, ugly, rugged, mean, tough, just what
he needed so he could have an enemy for his other halo toys. He was
very pleased with the brutes arrival.
