This figure is nothing short of perfect.
Scale is true compared to Spartans and other Halo universe inhabitants.
The detail is insane and it's arguably the most pose-able in the series.
No problems with gun holding, and both the back "fin" and face mask rebreather elements are removable.
Like others in the series, though, it's a display type piece and probably wouldn't hold up too well to actual play.
Hopefully it will be reissued, as Grunts need representation in numbers to fulfill their true potential.

I love grunts, but see no point as in to purchase it for 100 dollars, no matter what. I have seen others with it, and think they are crazy for paying so much for 5 inches of detailed plastic.
It is cool, but again, overpriced.
Why isn't the normal price? You know, like a Spartan would cost?

it lost some points as it cannot be played with just set up but it has promise

This figure is rather small compared to the others, but it's essential if you're a collector. The grunt comes with two weapons, a Needler and a Plasma Pistol, which you can give to other figures. Also, the grunt's tank and mask are removable. I have the orange one, but it's random which one you get. The figure isn't really articulated, but it holds the weapon easily, unlock some of the figures.

Evidently rare.
Unless you want to pay a fortune for this one, get the red one. The red one was recently released, and widely available.
Still nice though!
