All three of our kids have LOVED this toy from about 4 to 8 months old. Our first one lasted through two kids and was in beautiful condition despite being washed a number of times. A baby visiting us fell in love with it and we passed it on...so when I had #3, we had to get a new one...! Yes, it's big, but that is part of the reason I think the kids love it. They grab it, turn it, even "wrestle" it a little. We always give it at baby showers now!

I bought this for my 4 month old son at the time. There are so many things on here to keep them busy, I love the Lamaze toys and so does my son!

Son loved this since he was 2 month old. He likes the crinkling sound, the low bell sound, the mirror. He's 9 month now and in different stages, he found different things amusing. Now if I look in the mirror when he's looking, he gets all excited by my deformed reflection.

Lamaze makes a very high quality soft toy. Like the others my grandson has been given, the Clutch Cube Baby Toy is very well made. The seams are securely sewn. The different fabrics offer differing tactile experiences to stimulate baby's sense of touch. The bright colors are visually stimulating. The hard rings are wonderful for gumming when baby's teeth are coming in. The hidden panel which opens to reveal a mirror provides the element of surprise to entertain baby.
My only criticism is that this cube is rather large and is hard for younger infants to handle. I question whether older infants who are large enough to handle this toy will find it interesting. For a six month old who is very interested, this toy is just too large to handle and Grandma ends up manipulating it to entertain baby.

An older version of this was one of my older daughter's top 2 favorite toys. Now 4 years later, I got this newer version. The one superior thing about this version is that it has a "mirror" side. However, the other sides do not visually catch my baby's attention as much as the other one did with my older daughter just yet. That being said, all babies are different and she's only 2 months old, so we'll see... Definitely a toy worth trying that I often give as a gift.
