 best shopping cart everAug 18, 2010
I got this for my two year old, however both my four year old and six year love playing with it too. They all fight over who gets to run through the house with it. They are forced to learn to share. They always put stuff in it and they use it every single day.

When my 7 year old was 2 his AUnt bought him this shopping cart. It is like new five years later. So when my nephew just turned one I figured my son had so much fun playing with it, I would get one fo rher son. He walks around with his stuffed animals in there like babies. It helps him with balance. It gives him a way to pick up toys and take them to his bedroom. I would say the only downfall to it is he flips it on its side and he climbs, but he is a toddler and that's what they do best! Sturdy, durable and fun! When he finishes with it, it can either be passed on to the next sibling, donated or sold, becasue it will still look as good as new! Enjoy!

My son and daughter absolutely loved this toy, however we were quick to get rid of it when my 2 1/2 year old knocked his front teeth loose after he had climbed into the basket. It could be made much safer. If a child climbs in, it pretty much throws them into the floor. While not the function of the cart, how many kids will resist trying to climb in. It's definately not worth the risk. There are safer ones out there.

I got this for my son's 2nd birthday. For some reason I thought there would be more brands/styles to chose from at a Target store and waited until a few days before his birthday to go shopping. They only had two, this one and a much smaller, cheaper quality one. I trusted the brand so I didn't think twice about this one. Putting it together was more difficult than it should have been. We haven't had a problem with tipping and the size is perfect for him. However, like others have mentioned, the front wheels do come off a little too easy. I snap them back on and it's not a big deal but from this brand I was expecting much more quality wise.
One of the reviews mentioned that their child climbed into the seat (meant for dolls) and their legs got stuck in the holes where the legs of the dolls would go. Maybe it's an older model (I got ours in late October 2009) but I can't even force my hand through the openings.
I would only recommend this if only one child will be playing with it on a regular basis, and a fairly calm one at that. Just be prepared to snap the wheels back on when needed. I can't imagine it holding up to the use of multiple children or those that play a little rough.

Indestructible. My tot also uses it in lieu of a doll stroller. I have even used it for transporting toys to their destinations! Terrific!
