I work as a speech-language therapist in a public school and shared this item with a first grade teacher. It's a great educational support item to use in "centers" and the kids love it.

Great for the right ageNov 21, 2008
By H. Wall I bought this for our 4 1/2 year old who is already doing fairly high level puzzles, is very good at rhyming and is reading basic words. This game is just too easy for her but she has enjoyed playing with it anyway. For her, it would have been perfect about 6 months ago.

Not a big hit at our houseJul 27, 2009

I had high hopes for this, but my kids aren't that interested. I think the main problem is that the puzzle pieces do not stay together. Due to this, I believe my children get frustrated and lose interest. I think this toy would be more successful made of wood or by using some other type of self-correcting technique, such as color coding.
nice conceptJul 04, 2009
By Sami Jadran My four age son loves it. He actually will come up with more words that could rhymes. So it help kids learn words, think of more and understand the concept of rhymes. Also it is a puzzle so he is learning how to connect them. All of the puzzles are differnt shapes so you only can fit the correct piece with each other. Still it is hard and makes kids think to get the right shapes match. I like this idea better than just reading rhymes books.
