 Plan City Pilot and HelicopterNov 03, 2006

As an early childhood educator, I am always trying to find toy sets that foster growth and development. The whole PlanCity set is made from good wood that lasts forever. They have many many items that kids enjoy a lot when you put them all together. The prices are pretty good considering that the items in PlanCity last forever! Kids of all ages really enjoy playing with these just like Thomas the Tank engine sets or the Geotrax sets.

My son loves this, it seems fairly well made. The only thing I would change would be to make the helicopter's blades a little sturdier. Every time we take it out of the toy box, they're bent into a new shape.

We bought this for my 2 yeard old and he enjoys it. It's not his favorite, but that's probably because he's more into animals right now.
So far we haven't had any issues with the propeller and would consider this a well-made toy.

I would say this was a terrific buy, we have a few plan toys and we love them. My 3 yr old plays with them a little everyday, they are good for imagination and the guy can come out of the helicopter. We have the airplane and the excavator too. plan toys rule ! well it is mostly wood and we love that.

I bought this for my 2 yr old and we loved it but it quickly broke- very flimsy- plastic bits snapped off and the dowels weren't glued in... too bad. Kind of expensive for a toy that doesn't last.
