Great for the kid that won't sit still....Feb 08, 2010 I bought this for my 1 and 1/2 year old for Christmas. She is one of those kids that doesn't stop moving. She hates riding in a stroller and usually won't stay in a wagon. This was the perfect solution. She loves to ride in her car when we go for walks. Another great feature is the seatbelt. Even though she can't get out, she rarely complains. The only negative I've seen so far is that she can touch the ground if she takes her feet off the footrests. Sometimes she drags her shoes on the ground as we're walking. Not too good for the life of the shoes, but I'd rather deal with that than the screaming and Houdini-like escape attempts from the stroller.
LOVE IT!Feb 03, 2010 My parents bought this for my oldest Daughters 1st birthday. She loved it. She called it "the bus" for the longest time, and we took daily walks with it. She's now going to be 3 and has moved onto her tricycle, but I have it for her little sister, when she turns 1. I would tell everyone to get one for their child!
Excellent fun for the priceFeb 03, 2010 This buggy has been so much fun for our family. We purchased it for our 10 month old. She loves being pushed around in it, and our older kids think it's fun to push her around. Perfect for inside fun or for outside. We love it.
Vroom vroomJan 09, 2010 My son loves this car, but beware:
- the wheels are cheap and noisy. It sounds terrible in a parking lot. IMHO, it'd be worth spending $20 extra to get the rubber wheeled version.
- it is sort of a pain to put together.
Otherwise, my son, now 14 months, loves this toy. He loves to sit in it, ride in it, push it, put stuff in the compartment.
Better Than the Chicco Car - My 9 Month-Old LOVES It!Dec 31, 2009 We were visiting someone in the children's hospital which is where we first saw this toy - my daughter really seemed to enjoy being pushed around in it so we decided to buy her one for Christmas. Hands down it's her most favorite thing to do now! It's too cold to take it outside now, so my husband and I push her around the house and she smiles and laughs! She could probably do this all day long!
We had initially bought her a different car, the Chicco 4 in 1 Ride On car, which we thought might be better because it changed from a rocker to a self-push car for when she's older. But, in fact she didn't like it very much. I think part of it was that the seat was so wide that it forced her legs to spread out and it wasn't comfortable. She never wanted to be on it, so we returned it to the store. This Step 2 car is very comfortable for her.
