Very durable and you can easily add on a longer handles to be used as the child grows.
Plus added benefit helps on yard clean up or toy box.

5Kid's WheelbarrowFeb 10, 2010
I bought this wheelbarrow for my next door neighbor's boy. He had been coming over to help me do some yard work, but he did not have his own wheelbarrow. I gave it to him for Christmas and it was a great hit. He used the wheelbarrow to haul his other present around. When we had nice weather, he brought the wheelbarrow over and we put some dirt in it and he got to wheel it to another spot and dump it. He just turned three and the wheelbarrow is the right size for him. I expect that by the time he is 6 he will be to big for it.
However, until that time this wheelbarrow should hold up. It is well constructed and when all the screws and bolts are tightened down it seems very solid.

5Good quality and our 4 year old loves it.Feb 06, 2010
Easy to put together, slightly smaller than I anticipated but it works for our 4 year old. It's very sturdy and he likes the fact it looks like an adult sized one. A great buy.

5A family traditionFeb 03, 2010
It was a tradition in my hard-working family that my grandfather would buy a wheelbarrow for the first-born male in each family, whether in our family or a friends. While a lot of people have looked at me a little odd as I carry this on, it teaches a value of work, as well family closeness. My nephew uses his in and out of the house helping pick up toys or work in the garden, and when the 2nd nephew is old enough, he too will follow on in this tradition. It is a little odd for a gift, admittedly, but kids figure out what to do with it.

I bought the very same wheelbarrow for my grandson. We purchased it from a store in a mall and the wheelbarrow took him all over the mall. He "helped" his grandfather clean up our woods using this wheelbarrow. Now, I have purchased the same wheelbarrow for his son and hope that it will provide them with as many cherished memories.
