DisappointedMay 18, 2009 Given this Royal Digital Picture Album Travel Clock as a gift PF141.
Clock works, but that is all. Loaded software, my PC with Windows Vista couldn't see the device. Uninstalled, reinstalled, unhooked, rehooked, etc., but no go. Then I read these reviews and realized I am not alone. Thought about using it as a travel clock, but the battery is recharged through your PC when it is hooked up and there is no way I can find to tell if the battery is low, so you couldn't depend on it as an alarm on the road. Can't return it as I don't know where the gifter bought it, so it is a total loss.
It worksApr 09, 2009 For 6, 7 dollars, I think this is a great value. It works on my PC. I don't have mac so, I cannot speak for that. But, on PC, it works well. the software loads the photo to the device with smaller size to display quickly. For 6 dollars, you cannot even get a pack of candy. Definitely worth the money spent.

Works great! Jan 05, 2009 This works w/ Windows fine; not sure about MAC support. Anyway, w/ Windows XP & Vista you will be fine w/ this. I loaded 50 pictures in no time at all. It will hold up to 59 pictures. The program that comes with this frame will resize the pictures for you. I got 2 of these as Xmas gifts for my son's pre-school. They loved them. Great for your desk or taking on trips. I did; however, purchase these at another competitors website for just $10 bucks a piece; "BUY" .COM of the day and it included FREE shipping...I wouldn't have paid over $30 for these things though. $25 would be a sufficient price for these including shipping. But, you be the judge of that. I didn't have any problems with the ones I purchased.
Doesn't work on my MacJan 05, 2009 I am also discouraged with this, although customer service has at least tried to help. The product specs did not mention that the sw that is shipped with it does not support a Mac, but after searching around on their website I found the Photoviewer for the Mac. I installed it and it took 3 tries to get my computer restarted. It then connected with the photo frame, but I got the "Freespace on device not enough" error. I called tech support and they said that they would send me a cd with the software for the Mac. It came in 3 days, but the new version did exactly the same thing. I called tech support again, and they said that I should write to their warranty dept and get an authorization to return it. After reading the other reviews, I'm not going to bother. Maybe I'll try to find a windows machine and see if that works.

Company admits this product doesn't work!Jan 01, 2009 I have both Mac OS X and Windows. I downloaded their Mac software from their website, but it kept giving this error "Free space on device is not enough!" (Obviously not written by a native speaker of English.)
I got this error on a brand-new unit with NOTHING stored on it yet! I images in all the "supported" formats: JPG, GIF, PNG, but none worked. Not even a tiny 10K file would transfer.
Tech support first claimed that the product doesn't work on Macs (Oh yeah? Why does your website offer Mac software for this product?). In any event, I tried it on Windows, but the Windows software didn't "see" the device. (Though the Windows device manager saw it.)
Finally tech support said it was defective, and suggested I exchange it, which I did. I got the exact same errors with the 2nd one, at which point someone in tech support admitted that they were getting tons of calls about this device, and that (as far as they knew) NONE WORK! I was stunned, but there's no point in continuing a tech support call after an admission like that.
The tech suggested I try a different model; I suggested I try a different brand!
Do NOT buy this product! You have been warned.
