Everything is very small and cheaply madeFeb 21, 2010 The cups and saucers and very tiny and are easily bent. This seems to be more of that cheap china made garbage that some people peddle. The worst part of it is the size of all of the components.
Great set for my sonDec 30, 2009 This is the only set I could find that was not "girly" for my son. He loves it and we have tea daily. It has held up for a year despite heavy use.
14 month old loves this set, very sturdy and safeDec 03, 2009 my little girl love george and this tea set, very sturdy and colorful, would recommend but take the teapot lid away till a bit older
Great unbreakable toy for girls AND boysOct 21, 2009 I was looking for an alternative for Pepto-pink flowery sets for my boys - 3 and almost 2. They love Curious George, so this was a natural fit. The set is much cuter in person than in the picture and each piece is tiny and very dainty, yet unbreakable. Curious George branding is actually very pleasant and it has vintage charm, as it is painted in very subdued colors (unlike in the pic). The boys play picnic with it all the time, pretend to drink tea from the cups and invite all of us to join. Great for role-playing at this age - a fantastic toy well worth the price.
Okay, but leaksAug 11, 2009 I got this tin curious george tea set to keep in our camper. We like to have tea parties, or hot cocoa parties while camping. I figured this would be nice and durable, but the tea pot leaks at the base. Bummer since other then that it looks pretty cool, and won't break should it get tossed around in the camper.
