 Adorable Tea Set for Little GirlsFeb 18, 2010
I got this adorable tea set for my girls, ages 2 and almost 5, and it is perfect for them. They have other sets they use for imaginative play but they really wanted a "fancy" tea set" that they could use with real food and beverages (I did plenty of research first to make sure it is safe to drink from tin products and I was surprised to find that there is no harm in it). This set is PERFECT! Much fancier than plastic and not as heavy as porcelain. The size is perfect for their little hands and not too small for me to join in the fun. It has held up well in the month we have owned it. My girls love the tray. It makes it much easier for them to transport the tea set from room to room, and to the sink for washing when they are finished with it. My girls are delighted with the sweet bug design and it even includes a blue tea cup which makes my nine year old son more relaxed about joining his little sisters for their daily cup of "tea." Keep in mind that it is made of tin so if stepped on, it will get crushed. We had a little dent in one of our cups but it popped out just fine. My girls use a picnic basket from another set to store their tea set in. For the price I paid, I would not expect a case to come with it, and for that matter, at this price, you just can't do any better.

This is a colorful tea set that my three year old granddaughter loved at first sight. The dishes are smaller than I expected, but a perfect size for her little hands. I would recommend it to other buyers.

My daughter loves this tea set. I loved it becauseit won't break like the glass ones. Very cute. I was worried about the tea pot leaking, but it doesn't.

I ordered this and had it delivered to our granddaughter for her 2nd birthday. Her dad said that she loved it and is always having tea parties now. She sets up her table with the tea set and her invited guests, usually a doll and a bear. This is a great toy for developing coordination and imagination. I highly recommend it for little ones that just aren't old enough for the breakable sets.

I love this set. It's beautiful. I wish it was just a little bigger though. My nearly 3 year old daughter loves it. We have tea parties ALL the time. I try to encourage her to keep the set on her table in her room but she ends up carrying it around the house for spontaneous tea parties all over the house! Very adorable set.
