Fascinated!Sep 28, 2005
By LFK My 3-1/2 month old son just loves his Sunny Sunshine! Every night I put him in his crib and he immediately looks at Sunny waiting for me to turn it on. The music is relaxing and the lights are entertaining. I bend the rays and shine the lights in different places in his crib for variety each night.

My daughter really likes this toy. All of the rays are positionable, so I adjust them for her and she can pull on them as well. The lights come out of the end of each ray and it plays music. It's very cute and entertains her for a while. The only complaint would be that the music is a little too loud for bedtime, but she still likes it.

My son is scared of it!!!Jun 02, 2006
By Jimmy and Jack's Mom The music is too loud, and coupled with the flashing lights...my 7 month old cries everytime I turn this thing on. He does not like this toy, and he is the most easy going baby ever. He has a mellow personality and is the happiest baby I have ever seen. Always smiling, except when we turn this toy on.

My son recieved the Sunny Sunshine as a first birthday gift. I was a little concerned that he was too old for it, but he actually enjoys it quite a bit and likes to interact with the "arms" of the sun. I would agree with other reviewers that the music is simply too loud for bedtime, but I've found that playing the music during bath/pj time helps to calm my son and prepare him for bed.

Not that impressedFeb 26, 2006
By E. Samland I bought this toy for my 6 month old son. He has a ton of crib toys to choose from and this one doesn't make the cut. I think its too loud for him. He really likes the Ocean Wonders toy much better. And when we received this toy it was broken. Luckily my Husband can fix electrical problems so the toy was salvaged.
