Great for Go Enthusiasts!Feb 29, 2008

"the dude"
The product is pretty much exactly what the name says:
1. A Go Board
2. Its portable, (it can fold up)
3. Go Stones are magnetic
4. Two plastic jars for the stones are also included (can be put inside goban)
5. Perfect for playing in the car, bus, plane etc. all most anywhere
A recommended buy for all Go Enthusiasts not wanting to spend lots of money on big Gobans.

Sturdy Enough, Good PriceFeb 29, 2008
By Nick Eimers I ordered this so that I could play Go against a real person face-to-face, particularly for a lengthy trip to the East Coast coming up. The game shipped quickly and is rather sturdy. The two plastic trays the stones come in help keep things organized, and are a definite improvement over the plastic bags that come with cheaper portable games. There was no rule book, but I ordered a Go Guide before I ordered the board anyway. Best of all, the price was very fair. Overall a good product for anyone that likes strategy games, and has someone to play them with on long trips or at home.

Great little on-the-go GoApr 08, 2008
By A. Barnhart The only knock I have is that the lids on the little bowls come off easily, so you want to be careful opening the board. It closes well enough that it (the board) doesn't pop open easily, but you generally will want to carry it in something. It's a fine little full (19 x 19) Go board. If you think you might want it you probably do. It's hard to beat it at this price.

Quality is okMar 01, 2009
By e1e This go set comes with a foldable 19x19 board and magnetic stones in two containers. The overall quality is okay except: 1) The magnets under most stones are not flat, so that when you put the stones on the board, most of them do not stand flat on the board, but with one side sticking up. 2) The bare magnets can easily scratch the board. 3) Since the stones are small, it is difficult to put a stone among the other stones on the board in a middle game. Although the price is not high, hoping for a better quality is not unreasonable.

It is defective on arrivalMar 30, 2010
By Chuanhan Qiu When I received the item, the two piece of the board doesn't connect up in a way that resembles a go board, one of the metal piece on top is off balance, to get it back to the perfect shape, the only way is the rip out the metal board, and put it back, but then you end up destroying the glue underneath, so basically this thing sucks, big time.
Don't waste your money and buy something else. This thing doesn't cut it.
